My work is a way to connect to and understand the world around me. I question ideas of sanctuary and vulnerability, embracing natural and manmade forms and forces while blurring the boundaries between abstraction and representation. Chance occurrences and serendipity come into play. I seek to show the uncertainty, brokenness, and fragmentation of what I see around me.

My paintings and prints are meditations on structures and systems that have been altered by human intervention.
